Who We Are

The Talent for Tomorrow Alliance actively creates equitable outcomes by raising awareness, building partnership with corporations and schools, as well as serving young adults by removing barriers and providing pathways to meaningful employment and higher education. Working together we can advocate for non-traditional career and higher education pathways, provide technical skills training, industry specific based-certifications, internships, and wraparound support. We have shared strategic goals to continue to prepare young adults for in-demand jobs and create equitable outcomes by negotiating with area employers.

Already, the Alliance has shown impressive collective impact. Since 2019, more than 250 students have enrolled in two or more of our Alliance partner programs. Of those, 200 have earned internships, 80 have earned industry standard certifications, 111 have been placed in full time employment with Fortune 1000 companies. The average wage for placed students is $26/hour, and more than $245,000 has been awarded in scholarships to help students complete a college degree.

Beyond working with young adults, the Alliance also raises awareness and educates employers on more inclusive hiring practices and the importance of a diverse workforce in our region. In addition, the Alliance serves as a model for others in how nonprofit workforce development organizations can collaborate to empower diverse talent to launch professional careers, ensuring financial security for themselves and their families.
